SMB Evolution

Service terms

Get Found service agreement. Effective October 29, 2026.

These terms are the agreement between your business ("you") and Plutus Technology Group LLC, doing business as SMB Evolution ("I", "me"). Deane Boone runs SMB Evolution and does the work. You accept these terms when you check out. If anything here is unclear, email deane.boone@smbevolution.ai before you sign up.

1. What you get

At setup: I fix your Google Business Profile (category, services, hours, booking link and photos); build or rebuild your website so it works on a phone, with your address and hours coded for Google; put the same name, address and phone on Google, Apple Maps, Bing, Yelp and Facebook; and set up review requests to new members or customers.

Every month: hosting for your site and care of your domain; small changes whenever you ask (section 3); 2 to 4 posts on your Google listing; a watch for edits to your listing you didn't make; a re-check of how you show up on Google Maps and in AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude; a look at nearby competitors each quarter; and a one-page report on what I did and what changed.

Anything else (new pages, booking setup, missed-call text-back, social media, ads) is extra. I quote it first, and nothing extra is billed without your written OK.

2. What I can't promise

Nobody controls where Google ranks you or what an AI assistant says, and I don't promise either. I promise the work in section 1, done well and on time, and an honest report every month. Google, Apple, Bing, Yelp, Facebook and the AI companies run their own platforms and change them without notice. If one of them suspends a listing or changes a rule, I'll help you deal with it, but I'm not responsible for their decisions.

3. Small changes

A small change is an update to what's already there that takes me about 30 minutes or less: new hours or prices, a photo, a staff bio, a class added to the schedule, a line of text. Email me and I'll have it done within 2 business days, and you'll see it before it goes live. If a request is bigger than that, I'll tell you, and quote it as extra if you want it.

4. What I need from you

5. Price and payment

$199 a month, billed in advance through Stripe, by card or bank transfer.

Month to month: a $500 setup fee at sign-up, then $199 a month. 12-month term: no setup fee, $199 a month for 12 months. If you end a 12-month term early, the $500 setup fee is due. After 12 months it continues month to month at the same price unless you tell me otherwise.

Any sales tax Maryland or another state requires is added to the price. I can change the monthly price with 30 days' email notice, but not during a 12-month term.

If a payment fails, Stripe will retry it and email you. If it isn't fixed within 14 days, I pause the monthly work; your site stays up for another 30 days, and after that I may take it offline until the account is current. Your domain and listing stay yours either way.

6. Cancelling

Email me to cancel, any time. Service runs to the end of the month you've paid for; I don't refund partial months. I can also end the service with 30 days' notice, and if I do, a 12-month client owes no setup fee.

7. What stays yours

When you leave, within 10 business days I send you a copy of your site that any host can run, help move your domain if you need it, and remove my access when you ask.

8. How I work and your information

I use software, including AI tools, for parts of the work, such as checking how you show up and drafting text. I review anything that goes out under your name, and you can ask to approve posts before they go up. I use your information only to provide the service, keep it private, and handle it as the privacy page says.

9. Limits

I do the work with care, but the service is provided as is, without other promises beyond what these terms say. If something goes wrong, my total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid me in the 3 months before it happened. Neither of us is responsible to the other for lost profits or indirect losses. Nothing here limits responsibility the law doesn't allow to be limited.

10. The rest

Maryland law governs these terms, and any dispute goes to the courts of Anne Arundel County, Maryland. If I change these terms, I'll email you 30 days before the change takes effect; during a 12-month term, a change that costs you more doesn't apply until the term ends. Notices go by email: to me at deane.boone@smbevolution.ai, to you at the email you signed up with. These terms and your checkout are the whole agreement between us.
